Click here for larger view This is my "Whatever!" doll from Judi Ward's class. (Crafty College - online) I learned a lot and the class was fun! I used the TASHA wig which looks great on her. Between doll classes and your interesting, affordable accessories, I hope to make great looking creations. Thanks!. Shirley Walker California
Click here for larger view I recently began working on sculpting life size newborn baby dolls and was wondering if I could send a picture of one for the gallery. I hope to enter something in this years doll show as well. With four children I sometimes dont know until last minute what I might be able to get done : o ). If there is a problem with the attatchment I sent just let me know. Thanks so much, Shirley Riggs
Click here for larger view This piece is sculpted from paper clay and is standing on a mosaic base. Her wings are made from silk dipped into Cloth Clay to give them some body. The wings are painted with acrylic paint. There is a wire in the upper part of the wings. Her skirt is muslin dipped into Cloth Clay and painted. This stuff is a good companion for air dry paper clay. Thanks again. Bonnie Jones http://www.picturetrail.com/bonniejones
Click here for larger view This is the Jessica I did using "Paula" in auburn. The "Lady Ann" wig restyled and in auburn would come awfully close to Reb's wig, wouldn't it? Andrea Collum
Click here for larger view   Here are the pics of the aboriginal doll of Kate Twohig's that I made about 3 years ago. As you can see, she is a basic 14" doll, with a painted face. Kate included the face diagram to scale , so that it could be drawn on to the face before painting. There is a boy doll included in the pattern. He has a lap-lap on and has aboriginal symbols on his body as well as his face. I have not made him.... but I guess I really should, so she can have understanding company...grin. Click here for larger view Here is my latest creation, a Santa Claus in deep burgundy velvet. I used your Realistic eyes (for the first time) and was very pleased with the results. He is three and a half feet tall. I also received the 2000 catalogue and look forward to future purchases. One question: do you think you will have the wefted mohair. I find it a lot easier to work with than the loose packaged ones. Thanks again Michelle Saari, msaari@imag.net North Vancouver, BC Canada
